What is Wellfound On-Demand?

Wellfound On-Demand connects pre-vetted professionals with short-term, project-based remote work. After completing the vetting process, you'll have access to curated project opportunities that match your skills. You can browse available projects, apply quickly to the ones that interest you, and work on your own schedule. Payment is processed promptly upon project completion, and the streamlined application process means you won't need to submit full resumes repeatedly for each opportunity.

How to access and sign up

  1. If you have it available as an option, you will see it on the left-hand side of your candidate dashboard here:

  1. On this page, click 'Join' here:

  1. Upload your resume by clicking 'Upload resume'. If you have any trouble, please click here for advice on how to format your resume.


  1. Answer the background questions and click 'Next' :



  2. Participate in an AI interview by clicking 'Continue to Interview'. For help with the AI Interview please click here for more information.

  1. After the AI interview, you'll see a confirmation that your application is complete. You can review your interview feedback and re-record if you'd like.

How do I hear about the On-Demand opportunities once my application is complete?

Once your application is approved, you'll receive email notifications when projects match your skills and preferences. You don't need to check the platform constantly or reapply—we'll reach out to you directly when relevant opportunities become available.
