Can I require candidates to include a note in their job application?
In our system, notes are equivalent to asking for a cover letter. When notes are required, we will ask your job applicants to provide one as part of their application for your review.
To set up note requirements
1. Sign in to an account connected to your company profile.
2. Go to your Settings by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of your recruiting dashboard. Then select Account from the drop-down or click here.
3. Find the General area, and then toggle the setting. Require candidates to write a note when they apply to Wellfound to turn on the requirement.
Please Note: Turning on note requirements can limit the number of applicants for your jobs because of the additional step in the application process.
