What does it mean if my full-time or contract job post has "Limited Distribution"?
Why is my Distribution limited?
Limited Distribution means that the full-time or contract job listing is hidden from candidate job search results because of insufficient compensation information.
This occurs when employers have not provided a salary range, and there is insufficient data to calculate a reliable Wellfound estimate.
To have full Distribution, you have two options:
1. Add salary and/or equity
Follow this guide: How do I add a salary or equity range for a job post?
2. Promote the job – this overrides Limited Distribution by showing the job promotion in promoted locations in job searches.
Follow this guide: How do I promote a job?
3. Purchase a Curated Subscription - If your company is applicable, you can sign up for Curated services. When your company has access to Curated, your subscription includes unlimited job distribution.
Please note: Co-founder, and internship job posts do not require salary. If applicable, updating the job type can prevent limited distribution.

Why do you have this policy?
Our research has shown that compensation leads to more applications from qualified prospective candidates – increasing the match rate and reducing the time to recruit.
