What messages or notifications are sent to candidates when they progress through our ATS?

When you've connected your ATS, recruiters can manage applicant progress from your external applicant tracking system. In cases where a candidate is accepted and messaged from the ATS, candidates will not receive notifications through Wellfound. Instead, communication should be executed through the ATS as they progress through your screening steps. 

If you accept your candidates from Wellfound, you can message them from Wellfound even if they are connected to the ATS. However, please keep in mind that the candidate is also at the ATS. We encourage you to choose one place for messaging to avoid confusion.

The candidates will still receive pitches sent through Source. You need to send a pitch via Wellfound and have the candidate accept your Pitch before a candidate can be sent to the ATS. However, once a candidate has accepted a pitch, they will move to your ATS and can be followed up from there.
